For the star struck intellectuals among you, take a guided tour of Stadhauset, the City Hall which hosts the annual Nobel Prize banquet. Get a taste of the Banquet at the restaurant here which offers previous year’s menu and stroll through the Nobelmusee (Nobel Prize Museum) which houses achievements from the eminent laureates.

Stockholm is home to uber-cool, sophisticated and new age designs, popular the world over. Get a souvenir in the form of Swedish designed textile or interior decoration items. Hand-painted glassware is a local speciality.

Home to popular brands like H & M, Ikea, J. Lindberg, you must own an item from these names.

Get inspired by the Stockholm street style and head to Drottninggatan, the main shopping street in the city to find a good deal on designs.
